UK Visa Assistance
A Glasgow immigration advisory firm with far more service lines than a five page site could hold. We designed, wrote and shipped the whole thing in house across family, work and employer routes.
// Service · Scotland
Web design across Scotland from a Glasgow studio, from £2,500 on a fixed quote. Hand-coded sites with technical SEO, live in four to eight weeks.
// What we deliver
Hotels, self-catering, tour operators and attractions, mostly outside the central belt. The build decisions here are all about the booking: where availability lives, whether deposits are taken on your site or a channel manager's, and how the whole thing behaves on a phone with one bar of signal.
02Roofers, electricians, pest control, joiners. Someone with a problem today is choosing on how fast they can reach you and whether the price is roughly knowable, so these sites live or die on clarity and page speed rather than on visual ambition.
03Solicitors, accountants, advisers and consultancies, where the sale runs on credibility over months. The work goes into service pages a prospect can measure themselves against, people who read as people, and a first contact that does not feel like submitting a form into a void.
04Engineering, chemicals, logistics and supply chain, concentrated in the corridor between Glasgow and Grangemouth and up the east coast. Capability, capacity, accreditation and a named technical contact carry these sites, and the buyer wants all four findable without a phone call.
05Shops selling online, from a single-product maker to a catalogue in the hundreds. Category structure and product pages get built around what people search for, and the checkout gets stripped of the steps that lose orders.
// Selected work
A Glasgow immigration advisory firm with far more service lines than a five page site could hold. We designed, wrote and shipped the whole thing in house across family, work and employer routes.
A marketing company whose own website had fallen behind the standard of the work it was selling. Architecture, templates, security and measurement were rebuilt together on WordPress, and the conversion rate came out half again higher.
Sustained technical and content work against older domains with far deeper backlink profiles. Structure, publishing and on-page changes were run as one programme over months rather than sold as an audit.
// The market
Scotland's population reached 5.55 million at mid-2024, according to National Records of Scotland in Scotland's Population 2024, the Registrar General's annual review. That is the whole addressable market for any Scottish business selling only to Scottish customers.
Against that sit 384,280 private sector businesses operating in Scotland as at March 2025, on the Scottish Government's Businesses in Scotland 2025 figures. The same publication puts 98.3% of them in the small category, meaning nought to 49 employees. Almost every website commissioned in this country is commissioned by a small business owner spending their own money.
Both numbers point the same way. There is rarely enough search volume in a market this size for out-shouting the competition to pay for itself, so the return comes from converting a much higher share of the people already looking. That is a structure, speed and clarity problem, and it is the brief we build to on every one of the pages below.
// Where we work
We publish a dedicated page for each Scottish market we work in regularly, with that city's own figures, its own sectors and its own answers rather than one page with the name swapped out. In the central belt that means web design in Glasgow, where the studio is, along with Edinburgh, Paisley a few miles west of us, Falkirk and its industrial corridor, and Stirling just up the M80.
North and east, we cover web design in Aberdeen for the energy and engineering firms of the north east, Dundee across the Tay, Perth and the wider Perthshire catchment, and Inverness at the top of the A9. On the west coast, web design in Ayr covers South Ayrshire's visitor economy and its trades.
Each page carries the same offer with the local detail changed: fixed pricing from £2,500, hand-coded builds, technical search work inside the project, and two senior people on it from the first call. If your town is not listed, the work runs exactly the same way, so book a call and we will quote it. For the wider service, see our web design page, and for a view of the rest of the field we rank nine Scottish web design companies on published evidence, ourselves included.

// Why Delivix
// Our process
The price floor, the fixed quote, the four to eight week window and the two people doing the work do not move for geography. Neither does the method: a written brief you approve, then a sitemap and wireframes you approve, then a design system, then templates arriving one at a time on a link you can open anywhere. Redirects, schema, local markup and analytics are built in during the project rather than added afterwards, and the code, content and hosting transfer to you on launch day in every case.
The research changes, because whoever holds the top results in Aberdeen is not who holds them in Ayr. The structure changes with the catchment, so a business trading across Perthshire gets a different sitemap from one trading inside a single town. The sectors change what the site has to prove, and the travel changes: some clients see us in person several times, some never need to.
The other questions are answered on the brief. Fill it in or book a call.
We start at £2,500 for a custom build and confirm the figure in writing after a single call. Across the wider Scottish market the range runs from a few hundred pounds for a template package up into five figures for platform work at a multi-office agency. Which band suits you depends on whether the site is a placeholder or the thing that brings in your work.
Most of our Scottish clients are outside the city. We publish a separate page for each place we work in regularly, covering that market rather than repeating a template with the name swapped. The studio is at 119 Whitefield Road, Glasgow G51 2SD, and the same two people run every project regardless of where the client sits.
Less than it used to, and we would rather say that than pretend to have offices we do not have. Design reviews happen on shared files and preview links either way. Where being near still helps is meeting in person, so we travel for kickoffs and launch days when a project earns the trip and we say so in the quote.
Four to eight weeks for the large majority. A focused brochure site with the content already written lands near four. A shop, a booking system or a multi-division site takes the far end. You get a dated milestone plan at kickoff and approve structure, design and each template in turn before the next stage begins.
Either Astro or WordPress, and what settles it is how often the site changes once you own it. Occasional edits point towards a hand-coded Astro front end, which runs faster and costs less to keep alive. Weekly publishing points towards WordPress on a custom theme with no page builder. We make a recommendation and explain the reasoning.
The technical part is included in every build: schema, clean URL structure, quick Core Web Vitals, a full redirect map so nothing you already rank for is lost, and local signals for the place you trade in. Pushing rankings up month after month afterwards is a separate SEO retainer, priced from £1,200 monthly, which you can take or leave.
Saad and Sheikh, two brothers, and only ever the two of us. No account manager between you and the work, no junior handed the templates once the project is won, and nothing offshored. UX, visual design, development and search all sit with the same pair, which is why the first wireframe decision still holds at launch.
Yes. UK Visa Assistance is a Glasgow immigration advisory firm whose 82 page site we researched, wrote and built in house. Ogham Jewellery sells pieces by Scottish makers including Sheila Fleet and Ortak, and we spent six months turning that heritage into pages buyers search for. The rest of the client list is UK-wide, and our case studies name every one.
