// Service · Ayr
Ayr web design that brings enquiries.
Web design for Ayr and South Ayrshire businesses from £2,500 on a fixed quote. Hand-coded, quick on mobile and search-ready the day it launches.
// Ayr in numbers
The Ayr market · in real figures.
// What we deliver
The four things that win a booking.
The offer, said plainly
A visitor decides in seconds whether you sell what they came for. Rooms with sea views, a table for nine on a Saturday, a boiler looked at this week: whatever it is, it belongs in the first screen, in the words a customer would use.
02The price, on the page
Our view is that hiding the number behind an enquiry form loses more enquiries than it protects, because the people who will pay are usually the people comparing. A range, a from-price or a sample menu each give a visitor enough to act on.
03Photographs of the actual place
Someone planning a trip to this coast will have looked at a lot of Ayrshire photography before they reach your site, and stock images are easy to spot in that context. We build the design system around your own pictures, and we would rather wait for a shoot than fill the gap from a stock library.
04One obvious next step
Book, call or send a message. Pick the one that suits how you actually take work, keep it easy to reach on a phone, and give it more weight on the page than the alternatives sitting beside it.
// Selected work
Three builds,smaller firms.
Zap It Pest Control
An operator with a solid reputation locally and almost nothing coming in from search. A new build, a full content rewrite and technical SEO, all aimed at people typing a problem they want solved that day.
Math Tutor
Parents comparing tutors want reasons to trust one, and this site offered none of them. The rebuild put the teaching, the programme structure and the enrolment route where a worried parent could find all three quickly.
Ogham Jewellery
A retail brand whose heritage was its best sales argument and its least visible asset. Six months of content and development work turned that story into pages buyers were already searching for.
// Pricing
The cost of an Ayr website, plainly.
Our floor is £2,500 and the final figure is settled before anyone opens a design file. A shop, a salon, a guesthouse or a trade will usually find the whole project sits there.
Four things lift it, each named in the quote and each one you can decline: online booking with deposits taken, a shop, a menu or product range that keeps expanding, and translated content for overseas visitors. Whatever the total comes to, it is agreed as a fixed figure up front with no hourly billing at any stage.
The usual comparison around here is a package billed by the month, which has a genuine place in a first trading season. The trade-off is ownership, because years of payments leave you renting something you cannot move, while a build from us transfers to you on launch day. Book a call with your brief, or start with the detail on our pricing page.
// Working together
Under an hour up the road.
This page has no Ayr address behind it. Delivix works out of Glasgow, and what Ayrshire gets instead of a branch office is a short run down the A77. That distance keeps in-person work practical here, so a meeting at your own premises or somebody present on a launch morning before a busy weekend costs very little to arrange.
The search figures above are the ones that shape the build. Forty people a month look for web design in Ayr, and most local trades sit in the same range, so there is no volume to chase even with an unlimited budget. The return comes from converting a far higher share of the people who do arrive, which is why the four things above get the attention rather than a wider net.
Everything under that is the service we run in every market: builds coded by hand, search work included in the project, care plans offered afterwards without pressure, and two senior people carrying the outcome. Inland we cover web design in Paisley, the city itself sits on our Glasgow web design page, and the full national list is on web design in Scotland. The service itself, prices included, is on our web design page.

// Why Delivix
Why Ayr businesses take us on.
- Seasonal changes made easy. Prices, hours and availability sit behind a CMS you can edit in minutes.
- Real photography of your own place. Visitors recognise a stock image instantly and it costs you the booking.
- A price you can plan around, agreed in writing, with no hourly billing anywhere in the arrangement.
- Senior hands only. Two brothers build the site personally, so nobody is learning the job on your project.
// Our process
Who does what
What we need from you
Your prices, your opening hours, photographs of the real place, and a decision about the one action the site has to produce. That is close to the whole list. Where the photographs do not exist yet we will say so early rather than three weeks in, because that is the single item most likely to hold a launch date.
What we do with it
Research on who currently holds your Ayr searches, then a sitemap, wireframes and a dated schedule for you to approve. Design follows, and every finished page reaches you as something you can tap through on a real phone before you agree to it. Redirects, schema, local markup and analytics are built in as we go rather than added at the end.
What you have at the end
The code, the content, the hosting and documentation, all in your name from launch day. Two weeks of Search Console monitoring come as part of the project, and a care plan at £99 a month is available if you would rather the updates and backups stayed with us.
Questions we always get.
The other questions are answered on the brief. Fill it in or book a call.
Custom builds start at £2,500 and the figure is fixed before design begins. A guesthouse, a salon or a trade wanting six to ten clear pages usually sits at or near that. Online booking, a shop or a large gallery of rooms and menus raises it, and we tell you by how much at quote stage instead of partway through the build.
Yes, and the site should say so in a way that is actually true. If your customers come from Troon, Prestwick, Girvan and Maybole as well as Ayr, those places earn a mention in the structure rather than a list of town names crammed into a footer. We work out at sitemap stage which ones deserve their own page and which do not.
Four to eight weeks from kickoff. Ayrshire projects frequently finish nearer the short end, simply because there is less material to assemble and a shorter chain of approvals. The kickoff plan carries dates against every stage, and each stage closes with your sign-off before the next one opens.
No. The studio is at 119 Whitefield Road, Glasgow G51 2SD, roughly forty minutes up the A77. That proximity makes visiting realistic, so a first meeting, a design review or a launch morning at your own premises is a normal request rather than a favour. Day to day the project runs on calls and shared screens.
Yes. Booking systems, deposits, routed enquiry forms and full e-commerce are all things we wire in where they pay for themselves. A guesthouse taking weekend reservations and a producer posting orders across the UK need completely different plumbing, so the first job is deciding which one your business genuinely needs.
It needs to be easy to change, which is a build decision rather than an ongoing cost. Seasonal prices, opening hours, menus and availability go behind a CMS so you can update them in minutes without calling anyone. We also make sure the pages that matter in July are not buried by the ones that matter in January.
The build ships with local schema, your address and service area marked up properly, quick Core Web Vitals and pages written for the phrases Ayrshire customers actually type. Any rankings you already hold are carried across on a redirect map. Growing beyond that is separate SEO work from £1,200 a month, and many clients launch without it.
Yes. Our case studies cover the brief and the result rather than a gallery of screenshots. Zap It Pest Control is a local trade rebuilt around urgent searches, delivered as three workstreams covering the rebuild, the content rewrite and technical SEO. Math Tutor is a small education business redesigned around enquiries, three months from brief to launch.
