Four questions about your project, and you get the price band we would quote it in. Built from the rates we publish, so nothing here is invented for the form.

£2,500 – £5,000
Bands come from our published rates: £2,500 is the floor on our pricing page, and £5,000 and £10,000 are the budget ranges on our contact form.
// How it works
What moves the number.
Every answer you give adds scope points. The points total decides which of our three published bands you land in, and the panel shows you each point as it is added so nothing is hidden behind a black box.
The scoring
- Pages: up to 5 adds nothing, 6 to 15 adds 1 point, 16 to 30 adds 2, more than 30 adds 3.
- CMS: 1 point. Editable content means templates, fields and a training handover rather than fixed HTML.
- E-commerce: 2 points. Products, checkout, payments, tax and shipping rules are a second build inside the first.
- Bespoke features: 1 or 2 features adds 1 point, 3 to 5 adds 2, 6 or more adds 3.
The bands
- 0 to 2 points: £2,500 to £5,000. A brochure site with a handful of pages, done properly.
- 3 to 5 points: £5,000 to £10,000. Bigger content estates, a shop, or a few pieces of custom functionality.
- 6 points or more: £10,000 and up. At this size the price depends on the specifics, so we scope it properly before quoting.
What it cannot see
Scope points know nothing about your brand, your existing content, your deadline or the state of the site you are migrating from. Those are the things that move a real quote, and they are why we do a discovery call before putting a figure in writing. If you want the detail on what a build includes, read our website design service, and see what other work has cost in our case studies.
Questions about the price.
It gives you the band we would quote in. Two sites with the same page count can differ by thousands once you factor in how much content exists, how many integrations are involved and how much design work the brand needs. Use it to check whether your budget and your idea are in the same neighbourhood, then book a call for a fixed number.
All three come from figures already published on this site. £2,500 is our floor for a custom build, listed on our pricing page. £5,000 and £10,000 are the boundaries of the budget ranges on our contact form.
Anything that needs code written specifically for you: a booking system, a member login, a quote calculator, a CRM or payment integration, a custom search, a map with filtering. Standard pages, contact forms and blogs do not count. If you are unsure, count it and see how the band moves.
No. It covers design and build only. Hosting and maintenance run from £99 a month on our care plan, SEO retainers start at £1,200 a month, and copywriting or photography is quoted separately when you need it. All prices are ex-VAT.
A single number from a four-question form would be a guess dressed up as a quote. We price per project after a discovery call, then put one fixed figure in writing before any work starts. The band tells you what to expect from that conversation.
Tell us anyway. Below that figure a custom build stops making sense, and we will say so rather than cut scope until the site cannot do its job. Sometimes the answer is a smaller first phase, sometimes it is a template product from someone else, and we are happy to point you at one.
